Multi-storey apartment blocks
JCN Bolig built 42 high-quality apartments on Møllehøj in central Herning. Developer Bjarne Jørgensen personally invested a great deal of effort in creating the perfect project. From the flooring to the ventilation system, every detail was studied to create excellent homes for the residents.
It is important to know the tenants wishes and what they value highly when building housing so close to the city centre and when it is as visible as Møllehøj. It has created space for new thinking and innovations in the construction, e.g. the residents were able to participate in the interior design by making several partition walls in several rooms moveable. This means the tenant can change the interior to suit his or her wishes and also completely remove some partition walls.
Construction on the site officially started on 1 April 2020 and took a year to complete, ready for residents to move in. But by the summer it was already possible for people to see some show apartments and get a feel for what the finished apartments would look like.
