NYE is a completely new district that is being built in a location north of Aarhus, between Lystrup and Lisberg, where the first stage comprises of 650 homes, a day-care centre and staple goods store. JCB Bolig started the project with the building of 50 homes and the option for another 30 homes.
The first stage of NYE in Aarhus N consists of 50 homes, designed by architects Hune & Elkjær, AART Architects and LOOP Architects.
The project covers two different types of residences with a total area of 6,930 m2.
The project was executed as low-lying/close together buildings with a great deal of focus on sustainability and energy.
